Guidelines for the Submission of Documents

UNSW usually requires applicants to submit supporting documents. We need these additional documents to ensure each application is treated fairly and accurately and meets various legal requirements.

The best way to submit your documents is electronically in a PDF, JPG or TIF file, maximum file size 10Mb.

Other file types are available for specific program requirements, such as art or music portfolios, and full details are available when documents are submitted during the application process.

We do not require documents to be formally certified in support of coursework applications for admission and enrolment in most cases, but check the document certification policy for more details.

If you submit your documents in a language other than English, you will also need to send a complete English translation. The document certification policy contains details of translation requirements.

Research

Once you have received a Full Offer of admission to a research program at UNSW you will be required, either prior to or at time of enrolment, to provide original or certified hardcopies of official documentation.
