A Course (subject) is a unit of instruction that forms part of the requirements for your UNSW program. Each course is identified by a unique code: a four-character alphabetical prefix identifying the Faculty/Unit that administers the course, and a four-digit numeric course identifier. Each course has a defined unit of credit (UOC) value, and a per-UOC fee, listed in the following Faculty Fees Tables. Courses offered are listed in the Handbook by course code and title. Listings include the UOC value of the course, and a course description. Subject areas and Faculties/Units for each alphabetical course prefix are also described in the 'Specialisations' pages of the Handbook.
