Accept Online

Congratulations on your offer for a program at UNSW!

You must now accept, confirm, defer or decline your offer.


WHAT YOU NEED:
1.   UNSW Student ID: The seven digit code in the top right corner of your Offer letter.
2.    UNSW Academic Program code: The four digit Program Code (e.g. 1200 - PhD in English) in the Program Details table on the first page of your Offer letter.
3.  

Date of Birth 


STEPS TO ACCEPT ONLINE:
  Step One: Create Your UniPass (if you don't already have one) 
Step Two:  Sign on to myUNSW 
Step Three:  Accept your Offer and Log Out 

Step Four:  Enrol and collect Student ID Card


Step One: Create Your UniPass (if you don't already have one)

Previous UNSW student?
Create your UniPass: All first-time UNSW students
1.

Go to https://idm.unsw.edu.au/idm/user/login.jsp and click on 'New User - Click HERE' in the centre of the screen.

2.  Enter the required details, then click on 'Submit'.
The password you create in this form is your UniPass. You will come back to this site later (Step Three) to create your zPass.

Step Two: Sign on to myUNSW

1. 

Go to the myUNSW homepage 

2.

Click Sign On to go to Web Single Sign On.

3.  

Enter your User ID: a lowercase 'z' followed by your UNSW Student ID (e.g. z3180000)

4. Enter your Password: the UniPass you created in Step One.

5. Click Sign On. You are now inside myUNSW.

Step Three: Accept your Offer and Log Out

1. Click on to the My Applications Tab.

2. Scroll down to the My Offers channel. If you have a valid offer, you will see a Proceed with Offer button. Click this button. You will be taken to the Accept Online Welcome Page.

3.   On the left side of the page are the steps you need to take in order to complete the Accept Online process. You will see a tick beside each step once it has been completed.
Please Note: You need to complete ALL the steps in order to have accepted your offer be and enrolled at UNSW.
Read the important information on the Welcome Page and click Continue

Read and follow all instructions in the Accept Online process.

Make sure you Log Off the Research Information page, in the bottom right corner of the page.  You will be taken back to myUNSW.
Please take the time to explore myUNSW as it contains important information for students and the services that are available to you around campus. 

 


Log Out

Before navigating away from myUNSW be sure to close your session by logging out. The Log Out button is at the top right corner of the page.

Step Four: Enrol and collect Student ID Card

1.  

The Graduate Research School or the Research Student Unit, UNSW Canberra will send you enrolment information. Once you have received this, contact your Supervisor or your School to enrol in your program.

2.  

Kensington/COFA students: Once enrolled, collect your Student ID Card from FM Assist (Level 2 Mathews Building - near Mathews Pavilion).

3. 

UNSW Canberra at ADFA students: Once enrolled, collect your Student ID Card, which will allow you to borrow books from the UNSW Academy Library.  Contact the ICT Helpdesk (Tel: +61 2 6268 8140 or email helpdesk@adfa.edu.au) or on arrival visit them in Bldg 14.

4. 

Student ID Cards are available 24 hours after your enrolment has been completed/uploaded. You will need to present photo identification such as an Australian driver's licence or your passport.


You are now a student at UNSW!
