| :: YOUR ACCESS TO myUNSW: UNIPASS AND zPASS |
You use your student ID and UniPass to Sign On to myUNSW and Accept your Offer. You created your UniPass to track your application, or as part of the Accept Online process. After you have enrolled in courses and become a UNSW Student your access status changes, and you must use zPass for all further myUNSW access. Undergraduate and Postgraduate students enrolling themselves online At some point after accepting your offer you will enrol in specific courses, classes, lectures etc. You may enrol immediately after accepting your offer, if the service is available at that time, or you may need to wait until online enrolment opens at a later date. (Semester 1 2011 online enrolment opens on 16 December.) Whether you start enrolling straight away, or wait until a later date, you will continue to use UniPass to access myUNSW until after you have enrolled in your first class/lecture/tutorial and then logged out of myUNSW. Once you have logged out or been timed out of your first enrolment basket session, all subsequent login will be with zPass. Enrolment in your first class enables creation of your zPass. It also activates your new student account. You must then use your zPass to access myUNSW. If you have accepted your offer and find you cannot access myUNSW, please contact Student Central (Kensington). Research students, and students being enrolled by their School After the School has enrolled you, you are required to accept the myUNSW Terms & Conditions. Once you have done this, all further access to myUNSW will be with your zPass - your UniPass will no longer giver you access to myUNSW. Accepting the myUNSW Terms & Conditions enables creation of your zPass, and activates your new student account. You must then use your zPass to access myUNSW. Published 11 October 2010
