Invitation to participate in research for contact lens wearers

Researchers at UNSW are conducting a project which evaluates the comfort of gel lubricants in contact lens wearers who experience discomfort with their contact lenses. The study will involve the application of a gel lubricant, once per night for five consecutive nights, and sleeping overnight at the research facility. Eligible participants will be randomly assigned to receive a dissolvable gel lubricant or a commercially available lubricating gel for the duration of the study.

Exploring new strategies to combat lens discomfort

Researchers at UNSW Sydney are conducting a project to determine whether a new ointment/semi-solid drug is effective for treating eyelid signs associated with contact lens discomfort.
