Help - Your Email Address Details

The Maintain Your Email Addresses screen displays all of the email addresses stored on your record. Please check that the email address details displayed are correct.

You may enter additional email addresses however the University will only communicate with you using your 'campus' email address only e.g. z1234567@student.unsw.edu.au or for staff s1234567@unsw.edu.au.

It is essential that all students read email that is sent to this address, as it contains vital administrative or teaching material not provided any other way. You should redirect your campus email to your preferred email account to receive UNSW official communications and keep up-to-date with the latest UNSW news.

Please Note: You cannot edit or delete your 'campus' email address.

This screen allows you to:

Add a new email address
Edit an existing email address
Delete an email address

Add a new email address

To add a new email address:

Step 1:

Click the 'Add a new email address type' button.

Step 2:

Enter your new email address by completing the fields displayed below and then click 'Save'.

Email Address Type: Select the type of email address you are entering from the drop down list. Please note: Only one email address for each type is permitted. The drop down list will not include email address types already added e.g. If you have previously entered a 'work' email address type you cannot add another 'work' email address. Email Address Type is a mandatory field.
Email Address: Enter your email address for the email address type selected.

Edit an Email Address

To edit an email address:

Step 1:

Click the 'Edit' button for the email address you would like to change.

Step 2:

Update the email address displayed on the screen to record the new email details and then click 'Save'.

Please note: You cannot edit your 'campus' email address.

Delete an Email Address

To delete an email address:

Step 1:

Click the 'Delete' button for the email address you would like to delete.

Step 2:

A message will be displayed prompting you to confirm the deletion. To proceed to delete the selected email address, click the 'Yes, delete' button. If you do not wish to delete the selected email address click the 'No, don't delete' button.

Please note: You cannot delete your 'campus' email address.
