The Maintain Your Addresses screen displays all of the addresses stored on your student record.

Although most formal communication at UNSW is by email, the University requires that you ensure your mailing address is valid at all times. Please check that the address details displayed are correct.

This screen allows you to:

Add a new address

To add a new address:

Step 1:

Click the "Add a new address type" button displayed on the "Your Addresses" screen.

Step 2:

Enter your new address by completing the fields listed below and then click "Save".

  • Address Type: Select the type of address you are entering from the drop-down list. Only one address for each address type is permitted. e.g. If you previously entered a "mailing" address you cannot enter another "mailing" address. Address Type is a mandatory field.

  • Country: The default country displayed is "Australia". To enter an international address, select the country from the drop-down list and click the "Go" button to display the address fields required for an international address. Country is a mandatory field.

  • Address 1: Enter the address details e.g. Unit 4 / 27 Black Street. Address 1 is a mandatory field.

  • Address 2: Enter additional address details if required.

  • Address 3: This field is displayed if entering an international address.

  • City: This field is displayed if entering an international address. City is a mandatory field.

  • Suburb/Town: This field is displayed if entering an Australian address e.g. Kensington. Suburb/Town is a mandatory field.

  • State: This field is displayed if entering an Australian address. Select a state from the drop down list e.g. NSW State is a mandatory field.

  • Postcode: This field is displayed if entering an Australian address e.g. 2033. Postcode is a mandatory field.

Edit an Address

To edit an address:

Step 1:

Click the "Change this address" button for the address you would like to change.

Step 2:

Update the address details and then click "Save".

Please note: When editing an address you cannot change the Address Type field. To change the Address Type you must Add a new address.

Delete an Address

To delete an address:

Step 1:

Click the "Delete this address" button for the address you would like to delete.

Step 2:

A message will be displayed prompting you to confirm the delete. To proceed to delete the selected address, click the "Yes" button. If you do not wish to delete the selected address click the "No" button.

Please note: You will be unable to delete your mailing address as this address is required by the University and other agencies. Instead, edit your mailing address.
